Reason 3.0 for Audio?

Is Reason (3.0) capable of multitrack audio recording and playback from multiple lines simultaneously? If so, does it do it well? I want to have audio and midi tracks side by side, like Cubase, but I hate cubase and want to find an alternative.

I don't think Reason would work well for that. I'd suggest you look into Sonar instead.
