I would have to assume it is a mic with no cord ...with a XLR input at the bottom . you first need a mic cable ... XLR to connect at the mic and 1/4" with a reducer to 1/8"...then into the tower...unless you have a soundcard that accepts 1/4" jacks or XLR(3 prong thingy) inputs...

you need to goto radio shack and buy an adaptor for it, then it'll plug right into where a computer microphone plugs into

go to radio shack and get an xlr to 1/4" jack cable ........ then while you are there get a 1/4" to 1/8" adaptor........plug that all together then into your computer sound which should be 1/8" jack if it is an onboard card like you said(back of your tower)I feel like I am repeating myself...

Radio shack will give you bad sound quality.
Well, the mic straight to your tower without a decent soundcard in between it will.
If you want a decent sounding recording, I would suggest investing in a soundcard. www.newegg.com has what you need. look through and make sure it has the proper inputs that your mic will hook up to.
But if you arent to serious about it, rat shack will work...
