i am bryce and i'm 15 years old and i have been playing guitar for about a year and a half. i made just the guitar parts for a song today and once this song is finished it will have vocals and drums, so it WILL NOT stay as an instrumental. any comments on the guitar version of this song will be helpful.

(it's the 1st song on there and there is no title to it because it is unfinished and lyrics are not written for it yet but i named it "here you go chris" for now)

I dont want to hurt your feelings but whatever effect you have on the first song was aturn off....it makes the entire thing sound like the theme for some new gameboy game... It also gets boring after the first minute. But when you add lyrics that will change. Nice quality recording. But on the first song you have got to lighten up on the effects. Try using no effects on the rhythm if it`s an acoustic and then use just a little reverb on the lead electric.

"Like Everybody else" ,was nice
and the singing on The Cover by ATA reminded me of Bob Dylan (I think) in a way. As someone said to me....you can take that as an insult or a compliment.
But remember to try to throw in something original. Different than anything anyone has ever heard. And my i shure am chatty tonight!

thanks. yeah i was just trying something new with the effects and everything. and its not an acoustic, its an electric. so that s why i had to put some kind of effect on it.

Yea I agree with that paragraph completely. Some good guitar in there, and how did you record? Yea no effects for a first song helps, just so you can hear your own sound.

Too much effect. I don't care what you were playing. That chorus effect killed your song. Try it with less chorus, and/or some reverb.
