Alright, so I'm completely clueless as to what the EQ settings on my 4-track mean. So could some please explain the difference between them?

100hz
400hz
1khz
5khz
10khz

around 100hz is lower frequencies - your bass frequencies.

around 10khz is high frequencies - treble frequencies

Mid frequencies is around 1khz..

the Hz is a measurment basically how many times the sound wave goes above and below -0- the more times the higher freq. less times = a lower freq. so the hight the Hz the higher the sound being adjusted and so on.
