Learning???

How did you learn 2 play a piano...and where did you use the music of piano...in a band???orchestra???solo??? or w/ a accompany of another instrument??? and how did you learn it??? by hearing or by reading notes... :thumb:




Hi I am Mark Christian.... i am studying in Trinity College in Phil... taking Med. Tech. But i grew w/ my skill in playing piano....Now i hope after taking Med. Tech i will get a course of music in Conservatory of University of St. Thomas. I am reading notes and i'm using my ears as well when i am playing piano. Now i joined in a band, orchestra, sometimes solo and with an accompany of another instrument... Now i'm studying too in ENLI school of music(for training)!!!! I'm here to give an advices about music specially in piano...Now I've already compose of 3 Sonatas. God bless 2 all of you!!!

I got a teacher. I just played for my sole-enjoyment, by myself. I learnt it by reading notes.

Taught myself by reading various books and learning how to read music
took me about 6 monthes
but don't mistake me for a prodigy
i worked my *** off day and night, i was just persistant
after the preliminaries, its just a matter of what theory best suits you

I usually play fun songs (Mario themes, Final Fantasy, that kind of stuff).
