O.K. Hears the deal, I play the Bass and i'm pretty good. I've had my bass for about 4 months. I've been in a good band(Me and the guitarst got into a fight)And then we got another guitarist but he was bad. So now I have no band and I'm moving. When I get into the knew town, what do I do. Do I just keep practising my skills alone, or do I try to find?make a band, ansd how would I go about doing that?

I'm assuming from your spelling that you're still in school.
I wouldn't worry dude, just jam with people at your new school and you'll find a band pretty quick. Just keep practicing and wait.

Find local music stores and chill there. Maybe if your old enough you can even find a job at one. That would bring in some money plus open up new opritunities for you. Next year I'm going to be a freshmen in highschool and I'm going there with my bass player and a few other musicly talented friends and we have our hopes on a drummer. Asking around works.
Also, try bringing your bass to school and jamming when you have breaks such as lunch ect.. it will show everyone that you can play and word will spred fast.

Just ask any teacher that maybe has room in their room to let you store it in there for the day, but, I go to a cathloic school(not by choice) and I would never have to worry about the idea of people stealing my equiptment when I keep it in a room for the day. I'm sure a music teacher would be happy to board your instrument for the day.

No offense, but I wouldn't say anybody could be good in 4 months. As for the question, just keep playing untilyou find a band. If you only want to play bass to be in a band, you might want to try another instrument. You're most likely gonna lost interest unless you enjoy the instrument itself. I played guitar for 2 years before I started a band, and I'll keep playing guitar even if we break up.

If you are really good, I say you just go to school and just ask people if they know someone who plays guitar, and if they do go talk to that person and see if they want to be in a band with you. Play some cool bass stuff for them to convince them to join. Repeat for singer and other guitarist (if necessary) and drummer. So then you'll have a good band to get you going places. But it's always good to have a backup plan, cause most bands don't make it big. If you don't have some kind of career planned out other than music right now, I suggest doing that first. Hope that helped.
