anyone use yahoo/aim to voice chat?

I was wondering how you guys play your instruments through yahoo and AOL voice chat features? Do any of you play your guitar direct? If so, how do you get your guitar sounds to get through to the other people? Whenever I play direct, all the other person hears is my dry/clean guitar sound and not my distortion patches. Anyone know how to fix this?

I used Ibanex GAX70 electric guitar, m-audio firewire solo external soundcard, and NI Guitar Rig for distortion/amp models.

It depends what you have set as your recording device. More than likely all they hear is clean guitar. depending on the sound card there are options u can set so they can hear exactly what you hear.

How would one get their soundcard to do that?
I had mine set that way somehow a while ago, but had to re-install my soundcard and it stopped.
