I don't think http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388983 should have been closed as it's not really just a "Post your band" thread and the posts in it wouldn't fit into that sort thread.

You aren't to bash them in thread and you aren't allowed to bash them outside the forum. If you read the rules, there is no bashing, you moron.
Enjoy your ban.

**THIS IS JUST AN IDEA, DONT MINDLESSLY BASH ME IF YOU DISLIKE IT**
I just have a quick question. Since the name of the Community Thread changes often to various different things, Sean brought up a point. He was talking about the name changes and if they change every month. This got me thinking, what if we the community, vote on the Community Threads name. This would occur every month and the process would be simple. A thread would be started and people would suggest 1 and only 1 new name. At the end of the day the thread would be closed and a new thread would be created to have the top 5 names reccomended (this means any stupid unapropreat names will not count). And that poll will be set up for the day and the name with the most votes will be the new name.

Although its a good idea, it's just too much work for the result. When I think the thread needs a change, or user express a want for a change I usually ask them what they want pick the best from there, and may end up using one of the older ones later on. The changes don't even happen that reguarly, only when the current name gets stale.
I think I should be awarded a bigger avatar for just being genuinely awesome. Put in a good word for me Nick.

We had one a long time ago, and it turned into a hate fest between users. Stuff like Veganism and Straight Edge aren't discussed well in the forums because everyone has their opinions and no one is changing and it just breeds more and more hate.
And about the forum improvement resolutions, we've had a 'what could be done better with the forums' thread before and most of the suggestions were a) really stupid (i.e don't close any threads, don't ban any users), b) have been implemented. So I don't think a whole new thread would do any good.

Delete it. It's messing up the page. And my already fast-dwindling faith in humanity.

Good idea, we really need to stamp out discussion.
By the way, I was being sarcastic.

That thread's retarded. It's like starting a thread entitled "Does anyone know any punk songs with words?"
The Punk/Metal thread can also spawn only ignorance.

Nick, the Mucho-Punk list isn't dead. It's been going on for a while, but there's been no need to update the thread so I didn't. But I hadn't sent an album in nearly a fortnight and I felt I needed to tell people why. I know I could have just sent out an explanatory email to the list, but I thought that seeing as there've been so many new members in the Punk forum lately, I might as well restart the thread so they can add themselves. I went back through all the pages but I couldn't find the thread, so I had to make a new one. But people are obviously still interested, as they added themselves to it and sent me/promised to send me albums.
Ninja EDIT: So I think you should unlock the thread.

You should've bumped the other one, it would've been better then making a new thread.
And if people really worried about where it meant, they would've bumped it themselves or emailed you about it.

I said, I tried to find the older one, but it won't go back more than six pages, and it isn't in those six pages. I also remember some rule against bumping threads that have gone past the third page.
What does it matter if it was me or other people who bumped it? At least four other people care, and that was just in the first six hours. Pretty please unlock it?:)
