I told my ex I had never seen Amerian History X as an excuse to hang out with her for a few hours. Man am I glad I did that. Now I have sappy ammo ("I lied to you about seeing that movie so I could be around you"), possibly a girlfriend, and got to watch American History X. I am pumped. Have you ever lied about seeing a movie just so you would get to wath it again?

(the options were Shawshank Redemption, American History X and The Big Lebowski, all of which I've seen. She chose AHX. Good taste)

I wouldn't lie about it, I'd just say "yeah I've seen, but hey let's watch it again because I love it." :thumb:

Yes but now I have ammo to reel her in (because she's really awesome and I regret having broken up with her in the first place).

Also, to add to the excellent movie night, I came home and watched another one of my favorite movies, City of God. I just finished watching 54 which was decent but does not compare to AHX or CoG

AHX is the worst movie there.

It's still good, but the other two are much better.

Ray - I dunno.... I'd say it goes Shawshank Redemption with AHX in a close second and then the Big Lebowski in a respectable third. All classics though. I also had Secret Windo but neglected to awknowledge I had it with me as it seemslike it would be crap.

It would have been more romantic if you just told the truth and watched it again, as since she'll know you've already seen it, you're doing it more for her company, as opposed to seeing it for the first time where you would focus on the movie.

AHX...that movie was so controversial. I cringed when that guy got his skull smashed on the curb, even though they didn't show it.

I think I prefer the Shawshank Redemption, but I can still relate to your cause.

No but I've gone to see movies I didn't want to see because a girl asked me too.

:lol: Yea bad movie choice if your looking to get a girlfriend. The prison shower scene is going to be a little weird.
