By far my favorite movie of all time. I saw alot of people enjoyed this movie on here. Kauffman and Carrey are geniuses and that's that. I dont see how they could make a better movie. The screenplay, the plot, the actors, they all seemed perfect to me. And it got me to think. Would I want to erase my memoires, or would I miss them?

What are your opinions of this movie?

Scale of 1 to 10
10!

I really don't mean to be offensive here, but this is the third thread in which you've practically praised this film. It's a bit unecessary if you ask me.

I tried to like this film, I really did. But it didn't entertain me as much as I had hoped it would. The plot was certainly interesting, and the story is hard to follow at first, but even then, I still didn't feel that interested in seeing it again.

8.5/10

It's done fantastically. Greatly expressive and emotional and has a nice non linear form.

It was really awesome. I should see more of Charlie Kaufman's work.

Being John Malkovich and Adaptation are amazing. I don't know what else (if anything) he's done.

I'd probably give it an 8.5 or a 9 out of 10. I really enjoyed it.

10/10 Jim Carrey's best work by far...but I guess that really isnt saying much, considering he has been in two serious movies

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Kaufman's writing is good, though I find George Clooney to be the real star of that film; he directed it very nicely.

There's been a bit more than two, other than Eternal Sunshine.

The Majestic
Man on the Moon (Quite serious)
Truman Show

i don't know, nothing really pulled me into the film
interesting i guess, but predictable; I was just waiting for it to end

although there were a couple nice boners via kirsten dunst and kate winslet
can't say that about every film

I forgot man on the moon...that was an amazing movie as well...I don't think the truman show makes it up the quality of ESOTSM

No I think Eternal Sunshine is a little better than the truman show or man on the moon. I liked the Majestic but... his other three serious roles were much better.
