It's a form of Dance Dance Revolution designed for computers. Because you only use your fingers, people make the steps more intricate and diffcult... usually faster too. And you're able to make files out of songs on your harddrive instead of having to use what's given to you. It can be addictive.

Doing it with your fingers is pointless. The point of ddr or stepmania... is to dance or step.

I have stepmania, but haven't used it since my hard pad died.
