Free online RPGS

Right, I asked in a few places and got not much response so...

could someone reccomend a great free online RPG that doesn't need the game to be bought (i.e FFXI or WOW)
in the style of runescape possibly but cooler

tibia,? it 2D pseudo 3D, i found it quite boring and it lagged alot, and if you wanted to access more features you needed to get the premium pack or whatever it's called, i think the site is http://www.tibia.com

Knight online... I've only played it for a couple hours, just because it confused the hell out of me. But it's still a pretty cool game, if you really WANT to get into it, you would probably enjoy it.
