What PC game should I get?

OK so I want to get a PC game. It has to have good online and good single player and I like all genres. And it has to work well on my crappy laptop with the specs..
1.3mghz
256mb ram
and I don't have any sort of graphics card or anything so yeah tell me what game to get I don't care if it's old or new, just has to be good.

call of duty would be good. never get battlfeild 1942 though. im not sure if any new games are going to work with your laptop though

Yeah, paying monthly is pretty dumb for games. I have UT2004, it's great man. Very fun FPS.

Read the thread people. No graphics card. There is no way he can play war3 or world of warcraft. He can probably play starcraft though.

Without a graphics card, there isn't much I can reccommend specifically. Try abandonware sites. You can get games for free that you'll actually be able to run.

I have the same specs as you basically and mine runs fine.

Mine runs fine with MSN and Xfire open at the same time. Atm i have 515MB, probably 64MB gfx card and a 2.8Ghz P4. Its a Dell PC :upset: .

My computer cant really handle Wolf ET though and definately not with MSN up aswell.

Try UT2003 if not cause it doesnt look like you will be able to play any new games smoothly or even playable online.

Yeah when I play ET, I have to close most other programs down anyway....otherwise I get way too much lag, which ruins a good game....

UT2004 hardly ever lags. ET does all the time.
I think its just cause ET is free and u actually have to pay for UT2004 :evil:

If you want to go crazy oldschool, try any of the fallouts, diablos, or a game called master of Orion 2.... i dont know why but im ADDICTEd to that game

He may have a 64mb integrated which he can play newer games, just on very low detail.

yeha, CoD is awesome. I just re-installed it 2 days ago. The single player is awesome and the Multiplayer is too. Plus there's like a million mods and stuff. You could probably get it real cheap.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault has good single player and multiplayer. My computer is kinda slow too but I have very little trouble if any with this game, even in multiplayer.

UT 2k3 wasnt brilliant, 2004 is good.

Go for GOTY, good online playing, but generally boring **** single player.

Call of duty/ MOH:AA both are v.good online.
