I have a PSP and I enjoy it. They are coming out with some good games like Burnout Legends, GTA and Socom. I would say its worth it.

when does burnout legends come out?

burnout legends comes out 10/18/2005. i had a psp for a long time, and im getting really sick of it. its still fricken cool, but theres not much for it right now. and the only reason i keep it is cause you can play snes and a bunch of other emulators with it. you can also surfe the net and use it for a remote control. but i haven't used it for a while cause its just not as fun as when i got it. i don't know why, but im am really bord of it.

Firmware 2.0 was recently released so I'm sure as hell not bored of it right now.
I am annoyed though at the lack of good games right now, but there seem to be some great ones coming out in the near future.

i would say to definetly get the thing. and if you don't like it, then just return it. it kicks so much *** at first, but then... i don't know, i got bord of it, but you might like it a lot, and you definetly will when burnout comes out cause that game is soooo fun. plus theres a lot of hacks and apps and stuff you can do with it.

what are some of the hacks and all of that stuff that are available to the psp?
i havent heard anything about them.

There's a good range of stuff, but there's also a problem. If you update the firmware, the hacks won't work. If you go out and buy a PSP, it'll be version 1.50. I know 1.00 is hackable, but I'm not sure about 1.50. As far as I know, most of the hacks are emulators and games.

I don't see what is so good about a DS. The best thing peple say is: "it Has TWO SCREENS RETARD!" and "MarioDS is the sole reason to get it. I mean sure its getting good games in the future, but I havent seen a game yet where it fully utilizes the other screen. Most games just use it as a map or something.

I don't have a ds but I played the metroid prime demo for it and it finally gave me hope for a handheld first person shooter. The touch pad is really, really fit for fps. I hope someone besides Nintendo realizes that and produces some good stuff.

yeah, but it used the other screen for a map didn't it?
um to thread starter: Just go buy a PSP, sure it may not have great games now, but in the near future it will hve GTA:Liberty city stories, and other great games.

It's a map but it's also used for control and it feels perfect. And threadstarter how about waiting for a few months seeing what games come out for PSP and if they are good then decide if you should get one, by then they may also be cheaper.

I would say get one if you have the money and have the interest in buying one. Games like Death Jr, X-Men Legends 2: The Rise of Apocolypse, and Ultimate Spider Man look freaking sweet.

What did you think of Coded Arms? I've heard a lot of mixed things from people.

personally, i fukking love it...
i find the one player mode MORE challenging than halo 2. i find the fact you get 30 guns amazing. I love how you upgrade weapons. The bosses are friggin kewl. Multiplayer is great, since there is no radar, and fukkers cant cheat by looking at your screen. My bro uses his modded analog to move the head. I use the x,o, etc, buttons myself.....and always win
its 40 bucks too

Haha, that it was stolen.
It's such a high-tech piece of equipment it was bound to...

if anything. i'll probably get the used one, which is 50 dollars cheaper. but 50 dollars cheaper, is 50 dollars cheaper.
the first thing i'd want to buy though, is probably a nice FPS (someone said Coded Arms) or a racing game. probably a racing game. yeah. ridge racer looks nice.
how was your PSP stolen?!
I'd get Coded Arms if it wasn't for the bad reviews (no storyline, randomized levels creates monotonous areas, dull mission objectives, etc..). I got Lumines instead and it's not a bad game at all...

I'd get wipeout pure if you're looking for a good racing game. Also, play lumines. I have yet to meet a person who didnt love lumines after playing it.
