- I am a huge UNC fan, and i love Marvin Williams. Then he came to the Hawks, and i'm from Atlanta. But i hear he's having trouble getting used 2 the NBA style of playing. Unlike his team mates, who are all playing fine. What do you think?

Hey in your AOL Hometown Homepage it says that the beatles bass guitarist is george harrison. The Beatles bassist is Paul McCartney. George Harrison is the beatles guitarist along with John Lennon.

Taking millions of guaranteed dollars isn't ever a mistake.

If it turns out that he is unable to adjust and doesn't pan out in the NBA (which I doubt), then the Hawks will have made the mistake.

and Williams will still pocket the money. :thumb: It works out for everyone... not the hawks... but they suck anyway.

I find it odd that he left UNC when he didn't start. He was also taken ahead of the UNC starters, and that team did with the championship.

I realize the potential talent that Williams has, but I don't think he'll show that for a year or two. After he adjusts, he'll be a great all-around player. Maybe a poor man's Tracy Mcgrady.

Not to mention Ron McGovney played bass in Metallica for a few months. Their bass players have been Cliff Burton, Jason Newsted, and Rob Trujillo.

Larry van Kriedt also didnt play bass for AC/DC that long.

But anyways....I'm sure Marvin Williams will do fine in the NBA.
