Hi just popping by from the dnp section. I have done piano for 10 years and im looking for a keyboard..those synthesiser kinds? I was looking at the Roland Juno-D and am wondering how it performs and whether i could get a better keyboard for around that price? Im planning to use it as a primary keyboard and a few years down the road, get a better one and make it my secondary keyboard then. If there are better alternatives please suggest, thanks. By the way im looking for something that doesnt have weighted keys and if possible, more keys...possibly around 70+? thanks in advance.

Ithought about the juno D and that's an all around great keyboard for the price. However, when I went to go use it I really didn't like the feel too much, and the way the patches were laid out, it's probably just me though. So I'm getting an alesis qs6.2 instead because I heard it operates on a higher quality sound engine and stuff like that. Just test emm out and see which one you like better.

The Juno-D is good for the price if your are looking for a bunch of patches. The only have 64 keys though. If you want a full sized quality synth with lots of patches you will probobly spend more money on it than the Juno.

In relation to that, what do you guys think of the triton classic and triton le 76 key models and are there better keyboards i can get for that price?

Tritons are workstations so they will be much more complex and harder to figure out. Unless you know a lot about workstations you will have to do a lot of manual reading to be able to use the triton.

I might get the triton overe the juno cos theres a korg sale going at my local music store and the triton will cost just aus 200 more that the juno so i must as well get the triton, knowing that it has more features and performs better than the juno. This wiwll be my first keyboard and i guess we all have to start learning somewhere so i am willing to do the reading to figure how to work the triton.
