Okay so this is a Jap Tele. But its crafted in Japan not MIJ, so its better quality but a long way over alot of Jap guitars. I'm a big tele fan and play loads when I got into shops. I've got to say this is one of the nicest sounding a best palying tele's I've ever picked up.
Its got a rosewood fretboard with a varnished neck, its actaully very smooth and not sticky like a Les Paul.
The Seymore Duncan pups have a much twangyer sound and range than the American Fender tele pickups, I.e with the twist of the tone control u can get the tele to twang and then smooth out the sound into almost a P-90 vibe.
Its got a nice solid body which gives it alot more sustain than you'd expect from a tele.
Contored head stock, white binding, mines in Metalic Red but I have seen sunburst ones around on the internet. Should set you back £450-500. Slighty cheeper than a standered USA Tele but its a better guitar, if you want a USA Tele get one of these.
The only down side to this guitar is the tuners. As its a 62 reissue it has older style tuners. They can be quite hard to change string with although it dose stay in tune well.
Now for the pics!!!
