I am 15 years old and have been playing guitar for a little over a year.
I decided to do a cover song of The Fiction We Live by From Autumn to Ashes.
I usually do not sing, but i chose to for fun. tell me what you think please.

well I havn't heard the original song but standing on it's own it's pretty good. Vocals could be louder and are a little flat-sounding to my ear. Nothing much to say about the guitar work, it's not a very complicated song. Does the original have drums/bass?

nope. the original is just acoustic.
and thanks for listening!

i am listening to "all those voices".
i really like the reverb on the vocals. i like the bass line a lot to. this is a really cool song. it KIND OF reminds me of the cure. just the mood that it sets. i really like it though. you guys definitely have something going. KEEP IT UP.

Vocals can be taught (to an extent). You sounded a little strained the whole time, perhaps practicing with the song. I've heard the original, and while I don't think the vocals were all the good to begin with on the CD, you might have some potential if you work on it. Playing and singing is a hard thing to do, so if you could get that down with even a half-decent voice, you'd make a good song writer.
