Rate The Movies : The Batman series

Rate each Batman movie out of 5 then say the Highs and Lows for each film.

Batman : 5/5
Highs : The cast (especially Jack Nicholson), great story on the rise of Jack Napier/The Joker and the murders of Bruce Wayne's parents, fantastic plot, the humour (i.e. when Batman is fighting Joker's thugs in the belltower).

Lows : None.

Batman Returns : 3.5/5
Highs : DeVito as Penguin, dark and gloomy, how Catwoman began was good.

Lows : Lack of depth in the story, when Penguin controls the Batmobile just looked dumb.

Batman Forever : 3/5
Highs : Cool story with Edward Nigma's invention, Two-Face looked awesome.

Lows : Villains too zany, Riddler gets annoying, Val Kilmer just didn't suit the role.

Batman and Robin : 3.5/5
Highs : Arnie as Dr Freeze, good story, original Albert the Butler still in it.

Lows : Batgirl, creation of Poison Ivy was silly. Just doesn't have Tim Burton's touch to it.

Batman Begins : 4/5
Highs : Action-packed, excellent in telling the story of Batman's rise and background, Scarecrow's role is clever (making criminal's crazy so they go to his asylum), Christian Bale suits the role of Bruce Wayne.

Lows : Scarecrow not the main villain, Batman sounds like he has a sore throat. Not liking the idea of a new Joker.

Highs : The overall feel to me is very dark and gritty, like it should be.

Lows : The crazy knife guy who Batman takes care of in one shot.

Highs : Christopher Walken scares the crap out of me in this movie. Again, very dark. Michelle Phieffer in leather.
Lows : Not a fan of the corny circus stuff. The crazy knife guy who Batman takes care of in one shot.

Batman Forever : 3/5
Highs : I liked Val Kilmer, he just needed a less-douchey haircut. Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones were outstanding.
Lows : The Batmobile definetly looked cooler when I was little. The crazy knife guy who Batman takes care of in one shot.

Batman and Robin : 3/5
Highs : Haven't seen it in a long time.
Lows : Haven't seen it in a long time. But I'm there was...The crazy knife guy who Batman takes care of in one shot.

Batman Begins : 5/5
Highs : Christian Bale, the Scarecrow was great. Great action, and fast paced.
Lows : I honestly can't think of anything.

I haven't seen Batman & Robin in probably 5 years, so I can't really think of anything for it.

Batman Begins 5/5 IMO the best superhero movie ever.

Batman 4/5 As a movie it's excellent, but as a Batman movie it has flaws.

Batman Returns 3/5 Burton goes a little overboard with the artsy Gothic feel here, but strong performances make up for a silly plot.

Batman Forever 3/5 This movie isn't as bad as everyone says, delves into Bruce's character a lot more than any other movie in this series, and the villains are good. The addition of Robin and a lot of flat jokes lowe the quality.

Batman and Robin -1,000,000/5 Need I say more?
