I thought the movie was all of the comics...? Like, the first one goes up til where the Clive Owen guy starts, the second one goes until Hartigen wakes up and the third is the rest. I don't know.
And yes, I saw it a few hours ago, it's the best movie in years, I thought there could be no movie for the next five years, let alone weeks, that could stand up to Batman Begins, and suddenly Sin City comes along and absolutely blows it to pieces.
Benicio Del Toro was awesome, as was Mickey Rourke. Oh, and ELIJAH WOOD owned!
*spoiler*
Can anyone explain the significance of the ending and beginning? Josh Hartnett's scenes have nothing to do with the whole story! He was pretty good though.
EDIT: And another thing that's been on my mind, what scene did Quentin direct? I thought they'd point it out.

Josh Hartnett was an assassin. I think the beginning was just to set the mood for the movie, and to show that he's an assassin. At the end, it showed that he had been hired to hit the girl that ratted on the girls of oldtown.
Tarantino directed the scene where he was driving the car and Jack's corpse kept talking to him, I'm pretty sure.
Werny

I thought it was the scene with that hilarious guy talking about the car "yes, it's boner-inspiring". It seemed like a speech right out of a Quentin movie. But yeah it might be the one you speak of, maybe it's in the credits.
And yeah, my friend said that Josh's character was hired to kill the girl, but I thought it'd have a bigger meaning, thanks.

I thought the Quentin scene was when the the chick with the katanas cut the guys head off :\

On another note, who does everyone think stood out as an actor? Personally I'd say Clive Owen but I'm not sure why. He was an awesome narrator.

NO NO NO you don't bootleg Sin City!!! Bootleg all of the crappy commercial movies you want, but not Sin City.
Did anyone notice that Yellow Bastard was the only person to utter coarse language for the whole movie? Probably not but he's the only one I remember.
And standout actor... easily Benicio Del Toro.

It's three stories that take place in a corrupt city filled with evil and action. The stories can each be summed up thusly: Man comes to woman's rescue. Just like god intended.

War of the Worlds had somet interesting things.. such as these aliens jumping into these million-year old machines. They'd have such a superior technology compared to those that they could probably have found a much more efficient way of going about their business.
The kid living made the movie cheesy.
When the plane crashed, everything was in ruins, except for the van. How ironic.
Don't get me wrong though, I loved the movie.
