its not what happens, theres no way dumbledore could not be needed in the final battle between harry and voldemort anyway,
although the only chance of snape killing dumbledore was if it was like anakin being able to kill mace windu, i mean mace was winning against the emporer, its just that he had no defence against anakin cos he was otherwise occupied, that is the only way i can see dumbledore being killed, and thats unlikely as hell
