Vocal Mic Differences

$100 mics?

What will be the main/biggest difference in a $10 vocal mic, and a $100 one? Can a really cheap mic ****tify your singing?

I've played alot of acoustic and singing in school shows, but I tried singing on my friends $20 mic, and is sounded like dog crap.

Assuming you are talking about live use, once you get a microphone that can withstand plosives without popping and has a decent frquency response, then it doesen't really matter wether it is a nameless 7-0015 or a shure beta 58
