sup Jam Session. I've been having problems recording lately with my PODXT. When I connect it to the computer with a USB cable to record my recordings come out full of static, and the timing will be all messed up when I played it perfectly. The program I'm using to record is Audacity, and I need help quickly because I want to enter the July Metal Cover Competition in R&M. Thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

lower the gain and get a new cable...
It happens even with no distortion on and do you mean a new USB cable or a cable connecting the guitar to the POD?

To my knowledge, Audacity is not definitely USB compliant yet. If the PODXT works w/ your operating system flawlessly, you have a shot, but I wouldn't bank on anything.
