Hello, i recently recorded a few songs and would appreciate some
feedback on performance, recording, whatever
All the instruments were performed by me except drums that were created on guitar pro so they may sound flat at times.

Hey there. You got a really good voice. You did an awesome job of mimicking Hendrix's vocal style. The guitar sounded nice too.
Try to play some real drums and bass or at least fake it by doing mic taps and boosting the bass frequencies of your guitar track or something. Your Heroes cover kinda sounded like you were singing over a keyboard that was preprogrammed with the music all ready to go. It was kinda hokey in parts. The recording quality wasn't all that great either.
Like a said you got a nice voice and the guitar work on Hey Joe was nice too.
Hey, check out my song. It's called Behind Lucid Windows. I play all my own instruments too, so let me know what you think.

Hey there and welcome to the Mx Forums (also good job on knowing where to post this:thumb) Here are some things i liked didnt like and and hated or the Good Bad and the Ugly.
Reviewed: Hey Joe
Good:
Good effects (nice clean and awesome distortion
Timing (didnt miss a beat or have to speed up or slow down )
Tone (not too many missed notes
Vocals ( nice job on em with mimicking of the voice styles)
Bad:
Levels (guitar was high and the vocals were kinda low switch them up and get vocals on top)
Strumming (some spots werent fluid on the strumming during the verse's)
Ugly:
Drums (i know that there computer made but if you could get a guy to play and record some down you'd sound a 100 times better)
Other then what i listed your awesome keep it up :thumb:

Thanks for the comments guys.
Ive been trying to work really hard at fixing the volume levels....ive actually redone the levels like 5 times now and still cant get it right. It sounds good to me when i play it on garage band but when i convert to mp3 it sounds different! but im trying!
About the drums, i started this more as something i was trying out and ended up leaving them on there. I really dont know any drummers so right now its all ive got.
Is there any other program or something that can be recommended for better quality drums?

^ What's the matter with you?? They're giving good tips for improvement and recognising what was great. What would be the point of this forum if advice wasn't passed out?
rab04, it was excellent. And I thought the levels were pretty ok to be honest.
