Alright, so I know a three-piece band that like to dress up as hobos and play what they call hobo-blues. I'm recording their first single and this is a test recording of one of the songs on it, which is a spoof of 'Knocking on heavens door'. This is not meant to be another 'rate my recording' thread, but a thread where you guys can comment on and evaluate the effectiveness of the following setup:
--> Mac running Logic
--> Mic100 paired with Rode NT1A
--> SM57 straight to mixer
Because in theory, a setup like that should be able to give very good results. Also, I thought you might enjoy the song, and the singer's hobo tone, as well as the over-castrated backing singers..

PS The only thing I'm not happy about is the guitarist's choice of distortion, but he had a crap pedal and this wast the best distortion he could get out of it.
