What do you guys think about this show?

I rented the first season, and I thought it was really awesome. I think most Americans won't understand British humor (humour) but I loved it and I live in America as well.

I love the guy who used to be in the army, he is hilarious, I am renting the second season next week.

You're a ****.

Haha, and that scene with the jello/stapler is pretty funny in the first season.

I love The Office. I've only seen all of season 2 though. Dave Brent is the man :thumb:

I've seen a few episodes, but I never got into it. I never saw the comedy behind it, and it just seemed to drag on for me

The Office is great. People who didn't get it have no sense of humour.

The American Office is...different. I've only seen a few episodes from the first series. My first reaction was that it was just terrible. They basically ripped off every character (even down to hair styles) and cast them with Americans. Except the David Brent character is truly nothing like him. And he seems to be the only one acting...no-one reacts to him. Very bizarre.

However, after watching a few more episodes, (specifically the Basketball game one) I kinda saw just what the Brent character was about. Being Americans, there's lots of opportunities for jokes and situations that just wouldn't happen with brits.

I've heard better things about the 2nd series, so I'd totally give it a chance.

Nothing can beat the UK version though :)

I've never seen the UK version, but I thought the US version was hilarious.

I've seen both seasons of the office, plus the special. Absolutely amazing show. I'm going to buy the DVD's when I have enough money.

My favourite episodes (UK) were the final Christmas ones. When Brent goes dating, classic material.
