The ring scared me to death...and silence of the lambs. Signs freaked me out cuz my dad came down the stairs after we finished watching it when i was in my bed making the clicking noises the aliens did!

Its very sad, but the only movie that has ever scared me is signs, mostly because of how the movie keeps you in suspense the whole time... Movies like The Ring, Jason or Freddy movies dont affect me watsover...

I completely agree. Texas Chainsaw remake was so edgy. But I don't like scary movies, I prefer comedy or action.

Yeah, the book is a lot scarier. I really can't describe it, the way Kubrick does his version of it. It's more of a psychological thriller if anything.
For instance, scene that you don't think is the atmosphere of a scary scene ends up to be one when you least expect it, and when the buildup for when you think you're going to soil yourself, nothing happens.

Hollow Man was the only movie that brought me to tears......I was only 11. But at the time, I was so scared. No other movie has ever done that to me.

Long Time Dead was pretty tense until the end when they ruined it by showing the demon to be some twat in white face-paint, but aside from that it was full of suspense and stuff.

Well, the whole "Some teenagers go to a concert and meet this creepy bastard guy who wears people's skin on their way" thing was made up. The DVD has a documentary on what actually happened with Ed Gein.

Nice kurt cobain avatar.
Scarriest movie I've ever seen what probably the exorcist or when I was a child "it"... that movie deeply disturbed me. But the scarriest I've seen as of late would be the tale of two sisters.
