I really don't know which forum this question belongs in so this seemed as relevant forum as any.
What effect is Richie Sambora using on Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer" & "It's My Life". Is it a special mic or just some fancy synth effect the vocal signal goes through ? This is of course the second mic he uses, not his normal backing vocal mic. I'm sure I saw Phil Collins' keyboardist use something similar on "In The Air Tonight" from the "Serious" DVD taken from the Berlin concert around 1990. It sounded similar anyway.
