I'm not originally from texas but its lot of fun. but so is my home state just in different ways. I live in garland, so there are alot of cool places. But home was wide open spaces....sort of miss mudding thru fields...but alot more people here.....and generally a better place except for the heat...but lifes a bitch and everywhere has its down sides....but oh well i really don't give a **** about the heat. if i really cared about the heat i would leave but this is better than living in the middle of nowhere.

I'm in Houston... the humidy plus the pollution (OBVIOUSLY underranked by all those most polluted city polls) will really take a toll on you. Anyone know any good sites in East Texas? I'm gonna be there on the 15th - the 19th then coming home and before I can get settled I'm headed right back the 21st.

I like the Cowboys... but my home team Texans are really disappointing this year. If we get a high draft pick (this is almost a given) we should draft Vince Young and trade Carr. Carr just isn't getting it done... sure you could blame it on our terrible offensive line but in a situation when the rush is on and the line breaks down Carr can run the ball but he doesn't, he just waits in the pocket looking for someone to get open, even if there's no chance of it happening, or he braces for the hit. If we don't start getting better the few good players we do have (namely Andre Johnson) are gonna hit the road.

^nicely put. i have to agree with the comment on Carr. the guy's got a good arm, but apparently his legs don't function to well. plus all you have to do if you know you're getting sacked is throw the ball away. at least then you don't get sacked for a loss or throw some crappy pass that'll probably get intercepted.
