Deimos - Metal

[DanD]

This is my band Deimos, from Des Moines, Iowa. We play old school metal, mixed with some of the newer styles of metal.

Right now we have four songs up right now: "Uprising of the Fallen" this is our 8 minute instrumental thats only half complete. "Seven" is a more rockin song with catchy guitar lines. "Gargamel" is our classic song (don't ask about the name.) Finally "Stepping Beyond" is a more driving song with some pretty fancy guitar work.

I love your music. I liked all of the songs. Especially the guitar work in Stepping Beyond and the drum solo at the end of Uprise of the Fallen. I'd love to hear more. :)

oh god thank you, im so glad there's actualy a metal band these days that actualy has talent and doesnt just play one chourd over and over again with extrme double kick and demon growling. i loved it. everything was awsome, i am a drummer my self and i have to gove props to your drummer, he's ****ing rad, the guitars were awsome i love the harmonized parts, vocals could be a little better but over all they still rule, keep it up

This is a review of Uprise Of The Fallen

Good:
Unicine in the guitars ( the chords mixed well with the solo gasp you know Music Therory)
Toms (OMG you found out what mid toms are good for you use them more)
Break Down (awesome slow breakdown and how the bass mixed with the guitars also proving the all metal isnt done at 400bpm)
Rythm Guitar ( not drop d or c THANK GOD i was begining to worry about a revert in musical talent nowadays)
Levels ( good mixing probably done by pros but who cares it rocks)
Distortion (not alot of bass also very good)

Bad:
Tedious Drum Run (is good but ran alittle long)
Volume (turn the lead up like .5% louder then it'd be perfect)

Ugly: THERE IS NONE

Wow My First review without a ugly section i feel empty in a good way.

Keep doing what your doing this shi is awesome. i really like the vocals being that they sing and not justt scream everything they try say.

Bad:
Tedious Drum Run (is good but ran alittle long)
The drum solo is supposed to lead into the second half of the song, which we have yet record. Its a soft acoustic piece so it doesn't translate well live, therefore we never really play it.

The website isn't up yet, were still working on it.

Thanks to everyone that has listened to our songs and please keep the crit coming.

Also we will be recording in an actual studio and professionaly getting mixed in August, so you can expect better sounding stuff around then.
