View Full Version : Head won't put out much sound

My head, even turned up all the way, won't put out much sound (almost inaudible).

I've tried different cables, guitars and cabs. Nothing works.

The last time I had used it and the last time it had been plugged in I was jamming with someone, so it had been maybe half-way up. No problems then.

Solid-state head by the way.

Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Thanks.

You'd really need to have someone take a look at it for you in person. It'll be near impossible to diagnose the problem just given that above description.

I just need to make sure that you've got the speaker output running the speaker. And not the headphone output. (simple mistake to make).

But other than that. Who knows? It may be a loose wire, or it may be damage done caused by overheating.
Take it to a tech.

Aes820's got the right idea. Maybe it isn't your head tho rather the speaker itself in the cab. Either way, get that checked out by a tech. AND NOT SOME GUY WHO SAYS HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING BUT ISN'T A PROVABLE PROFESSIONAL. I made that mistake once and got ripped. But I sued him for fraud and won my money back and then some. But a lawsuit isnt the way to go lol. But yeah just take it into a tech it's probably a small problem with your speaker, head or output in general.
