Alright cool. I was gonna flame this guy but I think the situation died down.

Still hopelessly confused on this.

Went to Karazhan for the first time on sunday, was quite scary being the main tank (I used to play a shaman before TBC came out) and we downed Attuemen first time and Moroes after a few attempts (took us a bit to get the strategy nailed).

Loved both the fights, Moroes was really interesting, I like the random adds every week. Unfortunatly, we got the MS warrior, Holy Priest, Retribution Pally and Prot Warrior, not the worst combo, but not the best either.

Only bad thing about Karazhan is the god awful respawn timers. Makes it feel like MC2 :mad:

Ya, the respawn rates in Kara are ridiculous, especially when you're going to the Opera even and have to fight the Ghost Usher dudes...omg those guys are a pain in the ***.

My guild finished Karazhan the day before yesterday. I was invited to the last raid but I wasn't attuned. Damn, the guildmaster was pissed. I'm geared better than most other rogues in the guild, but that's because I didn't bother with attunement quests and other distractions.

All I've done the past few hours of gaming was grind the **** out of Consortium.

With 100 hp to helm, 1.9 and if I wanted to, I can put a +9 stam to my Barbaric Bracers to put me over 2k.

Warriors arn't too bad anymore after the recent buff to Rage geneneration and the godly Blacksmith Two-Handers that can be obtained. I hear the Intercept will break snares in the next patch aswell.

I'd say carry on with your mage. He's your highest level and a DPS class which means you will have max fun in groups and raids.

If you can't get any quests just grind or instance. I suggest either going Shimmering Flats, or getting a few days rested and grinding an instance.

Then it's on your way to stranglethorn.

In other news, my Warrior is nearly 62, but i'm carrying on with my Paladin who is about ding 56 :)

Hall of Legends. If you had a PVP rank you can chose to display the highest you had or none at all. You can't get a new rank anymore.

Warlock but it depends on spec. Mage benefits from Eng the most imo. Grenades and Tidal Charm both = free frostbolt/fireball. Tidal Charm does fizzle now I believe but it's still fun to use.

I'm prot (Main tank of my guild), but I like to vary every now and then. I've been MS spec (didn't really like it, spend half the time with little to no rage), Fury is awesome for grinding and PvE, it's almost unlimited rage, Fury is my prefered tree.

5k Executes isn't really special. Without Improve Execute and Deathwish, it's possible to get 11k Executes. My personal best Execute was something like 7k, but Executes are pointless in anything over then PvE.

3k MS are quite impressive, but the thing about a warrior is; any player with a clue, will stay out of melee range of a warrior and it's so bloody easy to quite a warrior, it's not funny. I'm looking forward to the new intercept/charge/intervene that's supposed to have come in the last patch, but wasn't added :(

Well my friend is religiously following the 31/30/0 spec, he says with Deathwish and Flurry is just retarded good for pvp and pve.

I dunno, I see problems with warriors and I don't...they do need something more to close the gap between casters other than intercept...but on the other hand...if I'm near a warrior for more than 5 seconds I'm dead. They do have good burst dmg pending on the rage they've built up. I had him explain his spec to me, and for the most part sounds pretty damn awesome (I was lvling a warrior for awhile until I quit).

I dunno, maybe it's meant for some people and not others, but just watching him wreck face in pvp solo is just awesome.

To be honest, I've only heard bad things about 31/30, but I've never tried it. I tend not to judge people on their specs, because that's the way their play style.

The reason Warriors have insane burst damage when you get near them, is because they'll usually spend 99% of the fight running towards you :p

If I do pvp nowadays, it's with a sword and board. Just to get that spell reflect on those annoying PoM-Pyro mages. It's hard to do right, but when it works...sexy time :thumb:

Bleh, just had a bad experience with some rogue around Hellfire.

Kept sapping me so I stayed right in the path of a several mobs, then ganking me when I had about 3 Hellboars attatched to me.

I got the last laugh though, ambushed me, but I stunned with Repentance. healed, and critted him down.

There is way too much to post, but yeah, Pally's healing took a massive nerf with Illumination only granting 50% of mana back from a crit heal though.

Vegeance now stacks 5/10/15% percent for every crit and now each charge lasts 13 secs around.

Imp Sanc. aura now grants 1/2% damage to whole group instead of healing.

Tier 6 looks really bad.

Btw, it is real and currently on PTR.

You also need to l2Warlock. The Felguard is fantastic in the arena. I still personally believe the Fel Hunter is better, though.

Yeah you're really, really bad. The Felguard is incredible against melee teams for it's DPS and it's stun is irreplaceable against any class.


I use a felhunter because I'm spec'd 0/37/24 but that doesn't mean the Felguard is a bad pet. Stop sucking.

Succubus sucks in any form of PVP. Felguard and Felhunter are incredible. You're just playing terrible players.

Seduce is only good in small scale PVP. The Felhunter silence is irreplaceable against any form of casters, especially healers. Seduce can be dispelled, trinketed out of, and there's a racial that breaks it and provides immunity.


Destruction is bad in PVP now, anyway. It has the lowest amount of suvivability of any Warlock spec. Warlocks tend to get focus fired immediately in arena and need a way to live through it, hence Soul Link. It's practically a necessity these days. Affliction can still be viable if played correctly, but Destruction is seriously just awful.


Wish it wasn't, though. I love Destruction.

BE is not a good choice for a Warlock. Orc hardiness will serioulsy win you matches from time to time if you get lucky.


WoTF and Cannibalize are also nice. BE just kinda... blows.

Heh, I was playing my lvl 22 Human Warlock last night, cruising around with a 26 priest. In redridge, we went to slay some blackrock orcs, and came across a lvl 70 Orc Hunter. Figured we'd just run past, and hopefully he wouldn't kill us.

He didn't, so we thanked him and continued on. He followed. Ended up with him running us through stuff for the next hour or so. It was great. :D

Some guy in my friends CS:S clan had a private server.

It was pretty fun to mess around on, he teleported us to GM isle where we got to look around, plus they had these 500% flying mounts that could be used in Azeroth.

Pretty cool, but seeing and wearing all the Tier 4/5 makes you lose the desire to actually gain them on a real server.

The server had so many problems though it was hillarious. Spell damage bonuses wouldn't actually add up, quests were bugged, flightplans were non-existant, and whenever I tried to use shadowstep, it said 'you can not use this skill whilst swimming'.

My friend was like level 75, and he ran into Undercity without aggroing anyone and killed Sylvanas easily on a private.

Also, he killed a level 45 mob in STV and it dropped nine blues and three epics.

Lol, GM's have a '.die' command that instantly kills anything.

There are some crazy uber staffs that can normal hit crit for 20k when auto attacking. Even if you are a mage or priest or whatever.

there was this faggot named krussk last night in my ramparts run (getting my 3rd and 4th cahrs to 70) and we basically BARELY kill the vazrudan and whatever the dragons name is (we had a shadow priest healing me who was aretard, I'm an asshole in videogames so when someone sucks i am not afraid to let them know they should stop playing).

so yeah, we all wipe except for this faggot hunter who then refuses to loot the chest for like 10 minutes (because he likes seeing us get riled up) so I boot him from group hes like "THANKS FOR THE LOOTS" and pretends like he's ninjaing so i invite him back and he goes back to NOT looting the chest,

10 minutes later i see that it's some shitty cape i already have and the shaman kilt but most importantly not my staff.

I'm never going to group with him again and im going to use my epeen to ruin his rep.

So I want to make a level 49 shadow priest "twink" mostly for AB. Well, not really a twink because I can't afford extremely expensive enchants. Just a little stronger than average player with a few inexpensive enchants and decent gear for my level. So what's more important? +damage, stamina, or intellect? Most high level gear in the 40-49 bracket seems to mostly have stamina and intellect stats and no +spell/shadow damage. The lower level stuff does have +damage but not much of anything else and usually contain worthless spirit that's useless in BG. Also, the AB/WSG cloth rewards suck a lot for priests. Any advice on gear, enchants?

I just hit 64 on my pally last night and got my epic mount the day before after alot of money spent on quests...but it was worth it because crusader aura + epic mount = peeemp

only need a couple more gold to get my swift pink hawkstrider as well

..then gotta save up for my third flying mount =( [have 1 on my mage and 1 on my hunter already]

and when you're a hunter, the only money you need to spend on things is arrows and repairs =p

i've been playing around with a scorpid when i'm based in a ranged DPS group.

heroic Ramparts - he had around 9% of the damage done...using normal attacks and poison only. and the odd Kill Command. when stacked at 4-5 times, it does around 200 damage per tick.

(and i'm not BM specced)

you're doin better then me meng. if you wait till 70 and pound out quests though you can make alot of money in no time.

I had to work on my ENTIRE quest line to get the Trial's of naaru quest which means finding oronok torn-heart's 3 sons doing a bunch of quests for them, one of the sons has you kill some guy on a dragon (elite) and then you return the 3 quests to him, he gives you a new quest to do a huge elite called cyrukh which requires a group, so we downed him. After that head to shattrath, talk to khadgar then a'dal and you will get 3 trial's of naaru quests

they involve going into heroic Shattered halls, Shadow Labyrinth, Steamvaults, and Arcatraz


Now, I did slabs last night and we had this damn healer who could not avoid sonic boom for the life of him. We'd all live through the first one every time except for him and then after he died we'd bring murmur down to like 12%.....after an HOUR of wiping the rogue in the group got fed up at the retardation of the healer (who was a shaman btw) and replaced him with what i thought was a priest. So we get fighting him and I take some substantial damage from a murmur's touch immedieatly after i get out of a sonic boom i take an aoe damage so I yell oh god i need a shield and a renew stat and all i hear on vent is 'I DON'T HAVE EITHER!' so i lol'd cause i realized i was now the retarded one. Needless to say we downed him....I really hate this fight as a hunter becaues i had to melee the entire thing and I love to pew pew =(


Next on the list is either shattered halls or arcatraz because I know steamvaults is mad easy so i'm going to save it for last.

AFTER those instances are done, I get another trials of naaru quest to kill magtheridon...once i kill him i'm attuned to the eye ^_^

What I'm currently doing on my 65 pally is farming mana tombs NON-STOP till i hit honored rep.

Once I hit honored, I'll do warbeads if I can.

If warbeads runs out.... you can get a lot of consotrium reputation based quests in the northern-most city in Netherstorm called the storm spike.

That's your best route for consortium.
