I played this game yesterday for the first time in yonks.

WHAT A GAME.

It's so so manic, it's just a fightfest, with boss after boss, then the board game at the end with the hilarious bosses.

I love this game.

I loved this game to, it's so frantic and fast. I always got the gun which homed in on the other bad guys.

Man, I'd buy a Mega Drive just for this game I think

If you haven't, either buy a MD and play it, or get the ROM.

I agree completely, it's one of the best games on my Mega Drive

It's kinda like Contra, and it's so fun and action-packed. The graphics are good and there are explosions and lots of things being shot at once, but it's the gameplay that makes this game. 14 weapon combinations, lots of bosses and enemies to defeat and a variety of different levels which all involve differen't things. They really need to bring back this kind of game

The board game at the end was a stroke of genius.

2 player mode, trying to stop the other one from throwing the dice, is the most infuriating thing ever. Then when you throw the dice, you gotta keep it in the air for as long as possible.

Yeah, I loved Gunstar Heroes. Not my favourite game in the genre, probably because I played Contra, Metal Slug etc before it, but it's still great.
