they arent going to tone up your stomach but they might help you lost weight. My sister has used OTC pills like Zantrax 3 and has spent hundreds of dollars on controversial prescription pills and in the end, a good diet and excerise with a little change in eating habits is what worked best.

People always mistake this, and think doing situps will get you that toned abs. Yes, ab excersises will get your muscles stronger, but ou need to get your fat % lower. You have to burn fat, and this can be done by doing cardio.

Will this diet work

I'm working out around 4-5 times a day. I'd say that have some body fat, but the areas I have the most fat in is on my chest and on my midsection. I'm starting to do cadio everyday for 45 min. I do some weight training (I alternate, one day legs, the other day upper body.) I'm completely eliminating sugars. I'm going to cut back on carbs (only slightly) and I'm going to eat protein. The only thing I'm going to drink is water and milk. I want to get toned by August. Do you guys think I have a chance to do this if I do this everyday? I'd say that I have an extra 5-10 lbs of fat. Losing fat is my main concern, then I'll work with toneing muscles.

yeah it sounds pretty much that it will work, except DONT cut down on ALL bad sugars your body needs them as well, so just have a very minimal amount and also dont forget to have natural sugars as they do wonders for your body.

Nah. Stay away from the pills. Do it without and you'll be better for it and maintain your results. If you lean on diet pills they will betray you in the end.

When I say sugars, I mean candy,soda,doughnuts,ect...

I'm still going to drink milk, and eat some fruits. I hope I can get thin by the time school starts. I want to get fit as soon as I can because there's this girl who I like and now's my perfect chance to go out with her because she broke up with her ex a while ago. I don't think she's that attracted to me though :upset: but it's worth a shot. If not, I want to go to school in good shape because there's bound to be a girl who likes me.

Stay away from the pills. Even though you can't trust much from the FDA anymore, I'd rather take a medicine that the FDA has even examined. If you read the fine print of the commericials, it says the FDA hasn't approved of any of it.

yeah some pills are an aid to weight loss, meaning you need to put in the same effort as you would without taking them, but you don't need them and they're terribly overpriced and have side effects. simple diet and exercise will do the trick and you should be able to lose 1-2 lbs. a week if you do it correctly. spread your meals out so you eat 5-6 smaller meals every day, it will help increase your metabolism, and do both lifting and cardio, preferably on different days. but if you do lifting and cardio on the same day make sure you lift first.

Many of these so called diet pills just make you lose water weight. Sure, you'll lose 10 pounds or so, but you'll gain it back as soon as you stop taking them because that's the nature of water weight.

Use the Jared diet :p

Good luck! I'm trying to do something similar, but I have football right now. It's hard to build muscle and lose fat at the same time, but I heard about a Zigzag diet. I think that's what its called.
