Personally, I'm going to buy the XBox 360. Mainly because I like action and stealth games, and Xbox is the only platform to have Halo AND Splinter Cell, both of which I am a huge fan of. Also, even though I don't like RPGs much, ever since Microsoft bought the rights to the Final Fantasy franchise, that will attract over PS3 players. PS is only good for RPGs and bad japanese racing games.

And nintendo? Who knows what they'll do. Maybe they'll pull an N64 and be good again, but the main battle will be between Microsoft and Sony, as Nintendo consoles are cheap enough you can buy one on the side.

I choose none so I can buy more stuff for my bass. New video games just don't appeal to me as much as the old ones do.

Well hardware wise, the PS3 has the advantage, while the 360 is just another highend PC in a box, even if it does have a multicore CPU. My favorite games have always been on Sony machines (and Sega before that) so there is no reason for me to get a 360. I just hope that Sony gets there online support solidified..Microsofts best weapon is still xboxLive.

Microsoft doesnt have any rights of the FF franchise. They do have some exclusive games from Mistwalker studios..and Hironobu Sakaguchi (creator of FF) founded that studio. Sony has quite some stock in Square-Enix, so you can bet some serious money that the main FF games will remain Sony-exclusive.

Im curious what Capcom is going to do tho.

The XBOX always has a much better selection of games, and with the 360, it seems like it will be ever better.

If I did, and I had thousands of pounds, because these things don't come cheap to start with, I'd go with the Playstation 3. I never really liked Microsofts design of the XBOX, just was bulky, apart from the graphics. Long live Goldeneye on the N64 :D I played with some geeky friend a while back, Im so ****!

I'll be getting a Revolution, because you can d/l SNES, NES, N64, and GBA titles off of its internet. :thumb:

But I also want a PS3, but only for Metal Gear Solid 4.

yeah the Killzone vid looked sweet, altough there is alot of speculation if it was pre-rendered. In the end it was a 5fps demo made on a very rough devkit, and sped up to 30fps in post production.

I would buy a Revolution if I were to buy any at all.

Nintendo has always done it for me as far as games go, and I think they're an extremely innovative (i.e japanese and wierd) company.
