Gremlins

This is quite possibly one of my favorite movies of all time (the first and second ones). I mean, they're both wickedly funny, they have kind of a creepy undertone to them, they have weird story lines, and best of all they have Pheobe Cates. I haven't seen the first one too much, but I've seen it enough to conclude that the second one is loads better. Any opinions?


And if this has been done before then sorry. I used the search, and even looked back a ways into the old buried threads to see. If it hasn't been done then frankly I'm surprised.

Yeah, the idea behind them is so awesome and you can forgive a few plot holes. Considering the level of special effects at the time they did a good job of making the gremlins menacing. Gizmo was too cute but I guess they were supposed to appeal to kids and have a sort of ying yang dynamic.

Havn't seen it in a few years, from what I can remember it was ok, not something I would put on my fav list though
