Where the heck is the cd key located? I can't seem to find it.

It should be on the paper case the CD was in if I remember correctly.

I didn't buy retail, but I know there is only like the CD's and 1 little paper instruction thingy. Odds are it is in the CD case and your just overlooking it.

it should be on the 'paper cd case' of disc 1. thats where mine was.

I got a cheap import of HL2.. only 30! :)

And yes it should be on one of the disc inserts.. for me it was disc 3

Good news is that I found the key. Now the bad news is that my key seems to be invalid. :S

Check over and over...B's sometimes look like 8s, 1s sometimes look like Is Or Ls, etc etc
