HEY GUYS, i friggin got it to work. I have successfully put game boys games on my psp memory, and can run them and play them even. I am in the process of getting SNES to work, and will soon move on to regular nintendo. If i had a digital camera on me, i would provide a pic of it working, but until then

it is only stored to the memory card, which doesnt affect the PSP itself at ALL

think of all the 1000s of games i could have on my PSP (when i buy the gig mem card) at my disposal at all times.

plus there will always be a little place in my heart for the classic marios, and things of that nature.

to me, graphics take a back seat to playability and fun factor (going back to old Game Pro days) Obviously they have a FEW bad arse PSP games, but these cost no money, and i can carry a whole plethora of them with me, smaller than a quarter....

Well yeah I wouldn't get a PSP just to play NES and SNES games. I've still got an old GBC somewhere and I can play GBA games on my DS. And any other old games I wanna play I'll download on Revo.

It's an anti-piracy measure, I guess. If anyone could run any software they wanted on PSPs they'd be less likely to buy commercial PSP games, and Sony and Microsoft seem to charge less than production costs for their consoles and try and make profit through game sales.

the snes emulator version they have right now is a bit slow. Im amazed at all the possible roms i could download, its just my fukking work server blocks all the sites to get new ones....

the screen is bigger than the gameboy screen as well. U can stretch the video :thumb:

all the ones i have at work are .rar, and my computer here is locked to NOT let me install winrar to unzip it. I wanna see if it runs smoother than SNES, but i have no way to check it out

www.psphacker.com, they'll most likely come out with a code for the newer versions, but not like I'm dying to play the roms on my psp. Either way, you'll eventually have to upgrade your firmware since new features like web browser and e-mail support (not to mention some games force you to, like coded arms) are coming out in July. I probably should have waited to enjoy the snes emulator, but I guess I'll just have to miss out on that.
