Unfortunately, your chances of keeping it on one site are fairly slim, but I applaud your efforts :)

Sure, it needs fixing. But I really think due to the fact that it is so extensive, it should definately be stickied.

I haven't ever seen a drumlink list be so long.

trysthedrummer
06-30-2005, 03:17 PM
And now, you've completely deleted all of it. You could have just kept it, now no-one is going to post and it's just going to be forgotten about.

I think the reason for making a new thread was to keep it clean, you know, the bare minimum, and I think he was probably hoping it would be stickied aswell. But you're right, unless it gets stickied, it will just be forgotten.

trysthedrummer
06-30-2005, 03:48 PM
Yeah he's made another one, which looks much better. I do wonder though if ANYONE will actually post in that thread.

AND I just realised that he made a link to this thread as well.

Jezen

I honestly think it should be stickied. It would get rid of alot of n00b threads like:

Q: Where can I find some cool videos of my fav drummers like TrAvIs BaRkEr!!!11!1???

A1: Dont tell him, coz travis is gay.

A2: www.drummerworld.com

A1: Oh you fukin prick! Why tell him for? Im gonna burn your house down.

add http://www.staggmusic.com/ to cymbals.
http://terradrummica.de is a site with some transcriptions of Vinnie and Weckl.
http://www.gersontricks.cjb.net/ has some neat tricks.
and you can also add http://virgildonati.com and http://mikemangini.com to the artists, especially as they are also somewhat educational, regarding their forums.
I'd also add http://terrybozzio.com/ and http://www.vinniecolaiuta.com/ cause it'd be kind of sad not to see them mentioned.

To Pearldrumguy,

Would it be possible for you to add a link to the Drum and Bass Drumming Resources Website at http://www.dnbdrumming.4t.com/ ?

You may be aware that I have already posted two messages about this site on musicianforums (once on the general drumming page and once on the advanced page). I don't want to be seen as becoming a pest, however, I was not previously aware of the Drum Resource thread.

I would appreciate it if you could add a link, possibly in the Electronic Drums & Percussion section.

Thank you,

Dreamboat.

THat's because the sticky is just a few posts with all the links, so it won't get messed up. This is the thread to ask for new links etc.

hey im a new user so just saw your resource thread...great job....i was just wondering if you had any info on the quality of stagg kits? I went to their site but obviously enough they wouldn't say if the quality of their products is good or bad! its just there is a used stagg kit for $600 near me (thats my price range anyway) so id just like a little background info on stagg before i looked into it. Any help would be much appreciated! thanks
