So I just saw War of the Worlds, two days before it is to be publicly released :D.
It was all by accident, the guy who runs the cinema here, Steve turned it on instead of Boogyman. Needless to say, it is an amazing movie. Although it differs from the CD version I have heard, the film itself just kicks major ***.
SPOILER
Unfortunatly thunder child is not in it :(. Instead of being alone and searching for his girlfriend Cruise has two children and is making a frantic escape to Boston to meet up with his ex-wife, mother of his children. There is only one type of vehicle the aliens have which is the large tripod with heat rays on either side. The heat rays do not just incinerate people, they explode them into a fine powder. The aliens this time are not killed by the common cold but as quoted from the movie; "the invaders were doomed the moment they arrived to earth, began to breathe our air and drink our water."
The aliens have a very weak immune system and the humans take advantage of this. The film is AMAZING and I highly recommend you see it immeadiately.
Questions, comments welcome. :)
