Everyone else stole the rest of the ideas that I have, so why not talk about my second favorite show, SNL :D :smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

I used to love saturday night live. It was good back when it first started and had dan akaroyd, john belushi, chevy chase and it was good when it had david spade, chris farley, adam sandler, etc. I liked it when Will Ferrel was still in it but a bit after he left is when I think it started to suck. Most newer SNL sucks...im sorry :(

note I know I misspelled many of these names

It use to be great, but isn't really that funny anymore.

However, it still beats the hell out of MadTV.

I wasn't around in the 70's or 80's and I didn't watch it for most of the 90's, but I did see Will Ferrall in Celebrity Jeopardy, and I loved it, I still do, like the one last night, w/ Cosby, Sharon O, and Connery.

btw, that's not what your mother said last night.

I used to be a huge afficianado, but then they stopped poking fun at society and began poking fun at celebrities instead. Who the #$%! cares about Lindsay Lohan's new boyfriend or lack therof? Their musical acts leave alot to long for, but MadTTV fails to trump them in that field. I think the magic in the newer generation was Farrel, which nobody really believed until he left. Oh well, one love lost, another gained

True, but that's not saying much.

Ive just seen the old episodes from the 70's its not like I lived through it. But did you watch the family guy episode where quagmire has an affair with loretta? YOu know that part where cleveland said we used to be great friends then it goes to that part where they are 70's swingers. When they say "were just a couple of wild and crazy guys" thats from a skit from 70's SNL with Steve Martin and Dan Akaroyd (i think)

The only segment I actually pay attention to is Weekend Update. God, Tina Fey is hot.

SNL was so much better when it first started, since there was nothing like it. Now it just isn't funny anymore because of the lack of talent and it isn't as unique as it was in its day.

Get out of this thread.

SNL has to be one of the most unique shows on there. But sadly, it seems that the show was been getting worse and worse each season since all the good people left.

Well I still love SNL. I haven't watched it much lately, but back in the day when it was Farely, Spade, basically all the actually funny people, I loved it.

I don't find the 70s shows funny at all.

The 90s were tops though.

New shows are terrible, but I still watch, hoping for something funny.

I'm sure he's talking about Stuart Smalley.

Because he deserves it, he's a good person, he is loved, right?

Why do I remember this?

Anywho, SNL sucks a lot now.

You do see the scar on her face, right?

I'm not trying to detract from her attractiveness, although I don't think she is, I just had a roommate who couldn't see it.

There's only one man who could save SNL from the suckiness it is: Christopher Walken.

How great would it be if he became a full-time cast member instead of a host?

I like the new episodes better but some of the older episodes are gold.

Last Season was horrible, and the one before that was pretty bad as well. They do waaaay to many gay jokes now.

Sometimes I stare at the sun for hours. Just curiosity I guess. Thats why my friends call me whiskers, curiosity like a cat.

God Ferrell was funny. I really didn't like that cheearleading skit he did, although thats probably one hes best remembered for.
