hey anyone there, i never pay attension to lyrics but know is the time i am trying to wtite my own lyrics, so i just want to ask u there are specified techniques when u are wriiting down some lyrics besides the natural talend ?

its just a matter of being aware of whats going on around you and doing your best to put your feelings/observations/emotions into words.

Good songs come from strong emotions or feelings about something. Put that emotion into the writing of your song; write what feels right and what comes to your mind. Also, a song doesn't have to rhyme, it's just a common technique. And another thing - don't ever stick with the first thing you put down. Finish it, leave it a couple of days, go back to it and pick out what you like and dislike, and change what you dislike to something you do like. There is always room for more improvement in anything; i don't think any song is ever "perfect".

i take whatever is influencing me at that exact moment. i write down all the words that have to deal with that emotion/subject (thesarus' are your best friend for this) then i think of how i want the flow of the song to be like for example if you like metallica's ride the lighting and you want your flow to be like that sing the words in your head to see if the flow is there
