Thought about this for my "do somehting with wood prject" this summer, and i know aes did it.

I was going to make it 3u (since all that will definately be going in it at osme point is a virtualizer), so is that 3 x 1 3/4 inches?

i presume 19" wide is not including the bits on the sides for bolting it in?

How deep will in need to be? I can't see any amps going in there in the forseeable future.

How would i make a front and back for it and how would i make them removeable?

I've decided ot make something this summer, and i'm not entirely sure what? a Cab would be nice but unless i made it 2x12 there'd be little point compared to the 10" speaker in the LC15R.

I'll probably end up making a pedalboard whatever happens but that's not too ahrd...

any ideas?

That rack case thing is a good idea, I'd also be interested in making one of those. For the price of a 4u rack case I can get a behringer B5 so its worth saving the money (not that I want that mic, just using it as something to compare to)

heh.

MDF is so cheap aswell, and rack rails ore only a couple of pounds each.
