Currently I have a crappy onboard soundcard that I use for recording stuff (mostly guitar) through a Samson MDR6 mixer and a Shure SM57 mic. Here's the thing... I'm getting a new soundcard tomorrow and basically I have two cards in mind, one being the M-Audio Delta-66, and the other being M-Audio Delta 1010LT (which for some reason is cheaper over here). I'm rather new to all this home recording business, and from what I read in the Delta 1010LT specs... and from what I could see in the picture, it doesn't seem to have any 1/4" inputs/outputs (I think that's what it's called anyway... it's what you plug in regular guitar leads into) which is what I'm currently using to plug in my mixer to my soundcard, whereas the Delta-66 does have those (though nothing much other than those). So, okay, I'm getting to the point... I guess my question is... if I were to get the 1010LT, how would I plug in my mixer? And also, does the Delta-66 have anything over the Delta 1010LT? Feel free to point out anything else I may be missing...
Thanks.
Thanks.
