hey im new to the thread. i just ordered a yamaha aw16g or something like that, i was wondering if anyone had this machine and could give some tips because im new at this thing called......recording.

Tip no.1: Be cool, ware clothes that look good on you and are comfortable. You will need everything to feel super.
Tip no.2: Ware sunglasses. Thats mainly for looking cool.
Tip no.3: Have sex with your partner before recording to make yourself feel even more cooler.
Tip no.4: When recording singing, let the singer take a little bit of brandy or something like that. This will make the voice "live" and make him/her feel more comfortable. Note that too much of whatever alcohol will ruin everything.
Tip no.5: Patience is a virtue. Do everything as many times as it takes. Perfection is your main goal.
Tip no.6: For bass players mainly. Rub the tip of your nose to make your fingers faster on the strings. This really works and is good when you want to get creamyer sound.
Tip no.7: Have extra strings for your instruments and everything you need for any accident.
