For those that play War3... what are your account names?

OMG!
IT'S THE ONE I PLAY SO IT MUST BE TEH BESTEST!
People who cannot seperate fact from favorite shouldn't be allowed to post in these threads.
Buncha morons.
FF sucks horribly. Unless you're Asian, and have no life, and like to compete with Asian plat farming psychos who game 24/7 and of course you must love anime and tentacles that rape anime fems. GRIND GRIND GRIND!
WoW sucks, unless you like gank fests, loot stealing and kill whoring. Kinda fun if you have a good crew to run with and lotsa time to put into getting the goods. GRIND GRIND GRIND!
GW sucks, but is kinda fun. Even, well balanced, not much game there though. It's good for a week or two, and the end game is total pvp. I am still enjoying it. Plus it's free. 4 toon slots, but you share storage, which is lame.
EQ2 is only good if you never wish to see the light of day ever again.
I like MMOs. As you can see, I play em all. These are my opinions though, not facts. Try WoW. It can be great fun if you don't want to pvp, but it will suck you in for hours and hours.

Ummm no it's not. You pay for the expansion but not pay to play. Also, here are the reasons why Guild Wars is better than WoW.
1.No monthly fees
2.Requires more skill than time
3.Better graphics
4.Better PvP
5.No need to install the game. (whenever you go to new area, you will download)
6.Free periodic events for the people who own the original (not expansion)
7.No queues to wait
BUT, there are also many things that are good things about WoW though in my opinion, you shouldn't need to pay $10-15 a month to play any game.

The only reason WoW is so big is because of the name: Warcraft. Nothing more, nothing less.

That's a load of crap. People play wow because you can get somewhere without having to dedicate your life to it. Look at DBoon's post, there is a lot of grinding but even casual players will be able to experience end-game material. True it'll take a little longer to reach then a dedicated player, but they'll get to do it. I highly highly doubt casual players will ever EVER get to experience End-Game material in games like EQ2, FFXI, Lineage II, Star Wars: Galaxies, because it takes a lot of dedication and time.
EDIT: And I hope the people who produced Guild Wars will be on top of things when people start to scam/hack/exploit the game.
EDITx2: Note that I love all MMO's in said statement, I have played them and thorougly enjoyed them. I just hate it when people talk crap on wow because it's a popular good game.

for one guild wars is going to have to compete with the other mmorpg's in the market. (duh!) and to do so they will have to have a team to keep it running, legit and updated. you also have to pay these people. there are two ways that you can do this. multiple expansions or pay to play. In case your wondering its not a theory of mine that i made up about guild wars possibly going to become pay to play i read about it.
the 15 dollars i dump on WoW is completely fine by me. it beats the hell out of paying 50$ for a 5 hr game and repeating a few times each month. do the math.

Well, like CRimson said, Guild Wars don't need to be dedicated to play. Unlike World of Warcraft, which you have to put a LOT of hours into it to finish...

not really, I know people who can reach lvl 60 in 15 days....that's like nothing on an MMO
Considering I played FFXI for a year and a half and didn't come close to max lvl.

I find Guild Wars can't even be compared to World of Warcraft. Skill based gameplay, competitive PVP, and easy content is what Guild Wars has. World Of Warcraft just awards players who play more. I have a friend who bought WoW two days before me. When I got the game he was level 17 and had a total of 30 game hours after about two days of owning it. Now, I am finally level 17 and I have owned the game for about a week. What does that say? That if I really want to be competitive I have to play ALOT. Dedicating yourself to a game is stupid, pointless, and no way to live. Games are meant to be fun and to pass time, not take the place of a life. I play about an hour to two hours a day, typically when all my friends aren't home, since I am currently unemployed (hopefully will be fixed tomorrow).
The more I play the more I realize nothing really matters in the game. I want an MMO where if I complete a quest to free someone from a magic prison, THEY ARE ACTUALLY FREED. I had a long quest a few days ago and upon completely it, the quest giver said he was finally free and stayed put. Sure, I understand others must complete the quest, but in retrospect, it really makes the quest not seem worth it. I could excuse that, if say during a raid, the raiders who win actually get some reward other than pride. But, alas I'll play until I hit 60 with this character or until the game is too slow moving for me. MMOs have a life-expectancy for players of a little more than 3 months. Past that, it's either laziness to quit or they just decide not have a life.

yes and at level 17 you are totally credible of these judgements. dumbass. MMORPG isnt the best way to go if your not going to play but for an hr or two. I have an idea lets make a "MASSIVE" (emphasis on the "massive") MORPG and make it 5 hrs long and possible levels of up to 10. this would allow for great player competition and a very enjoyable experience.Oh! and yeah the game is so boring at lvl 60 its not like you cant raid MC with 30 other players and get pwned by ragnaros who has only been put down once since the games release. yes very boring.
