Anyone here do a MMA sport, or compete under MMA tournaments? I practice Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and just competed in the NAGA tournament, I got fourth in GI, but didn't do so hot in the no-GI. Anyone else join any of the NAGA tournaments?

Good work in 4th. I'm trying to find some places here to train. I've found a place that does muay thai but times arent favourable and a place that does BJJ but you have to be over 18.

So no I don't compete but I do love it.

Guess I'll give this a bump...

Anyway, I love MMA and most other combat sports. I'm not training or competing currently, but I plan on starting a program centered around BJJ and "Traditional" Jiu Jitsu, with some TKD and Judo thrown in if I find the time and dedication when I get back from my vacation. The school I will be attending has a good Martial Arts program, and it is all freakishly cheap ($10 per semester, I believe). I already have a solid grounding in Karate, and I strength train religiously, so I'm luckily not starting completely from the ground up.

That is if I don't start Boxing though. Oh the decisions...
