Has anyone seen this movie yet? If so, what did you think of it? Would you recomend it? I'm sort of debating on whether to watch it or not, cause it looks like it could go either way. For one it could turn out to be really corny like all the other skateboarding movies, or it could be totally rad and really tell the story of the Z-boys while being entertaining as well. Basically, if you've seen it tell me what you thought, and if you didn't see it yet, how do you think it will turn out?

If you're interested in the story of it, then go for it. I went to see it with a friend of mine on Friday, and it was alright. It had some good parts, but it was also put together kind of cheezily. A lot of it seemed rushed.
I'd say don't see it unless you consider yourself a fan.

I'm a fan, and I liked it. Some parts were a little cheezy, but it was good all-around.
Wicked music, too, Neil Young, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Ted Nugent...

And you can't forget Pink Floyd. "Wish You Were Here" fit in so well with the movie.
Edit: Wait, now that I think about it, it was another band doing the song. But still.

I haven't seen it, but this will be nothing to the documentary.

Yep, with the exact same lack of hot chics or relevance to the actual sport.
