Heh, this is cool fun tunes boys. The horn in Direction is sweeet, the whole song is a good boogie, maybe not the most memorable tune but put a grin on my face.
Something On The Side was the only one which never really grabbed me. Good playing and the trumpet part was my favourite but overall the song doesn't make much of an impression.
Opportunity has a good feel though, I could imagine hot senoritas shaking their booties to that one. And horns again, all trumpets are they? The drumming is cool for most of the song too but goes a bit loose on the cowbell section around 4:30 and the song sort of flounders on that part. The rest of it is sweet though, and nice ending.
Guilty Pleasure rocks along in a good pumping groove and has an awesome section (I'm guessing it's the chorus) that repeats at about 1:20 and 2:30. I mean, it's based on an old glorychord sequence but I really dig the way you pull it off. And the way you guys kick into the solo at 3:30 is sweeet, in fact I really dig the solo style, like you're saying, "I ain't Vai or Petrusci but I'm gonna rip anyway." Good attitude. And the drums are cool again.
Judging by your influences you might not get into my band (http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=348629) but check us out anyway.
