Alright this happened yesterday at band practice, and it started suddenly. we were talking about something, and then when we went to play something, it was doing it. it makes this really loud hum/buzz our of both speakers, and sometimes its worse and nothing comes through the mic, and sometimes its not as bad and all it does it it sounds like my death metal pedal is plugged in, with all the static, but then when you sing, its this incredible distortion. we tried the mics, cables and different channels on the mixer, same thing. so we disconnected the spekaers one at a time. when we disconnected one, it wouldnt do it anymroe, but when we plugged it back in, both of them would make the noise, so we though it might just be coincidence, but we tried to get the fuzz without it plugged in, and we couldnt. we didnt disconnect the cable from the mixer, just from the speaker itself. Anybody know what this could be?

Not sure what your problem could be?

Just curious:
How do you use your PA?(guitar, vocals, bass, drums miked?)

well eventually we're gonna use the pa system for the drums, but right now its not loud enough for vocals really, so drums i spointless. anyway, its just our singer and back-up singer.

Are you just going to buy a new system, or just add more speakers and amps?

well new speakers in like a month or so hopefully, n then a mixer/power amp so yeah a whole new system, but we want to be able to use this for now. anyway, is it ok to only run one speaker for a little bit?
